"My lady, her mom, and I got in to St. Simon's Island late on a Sunday and were looking for a place to eat. Not much was open but we found this place was hopping so we stopped by. Overall, it was a pretty good experience. The food was good, the service was excellent, and it was fairly laid back. There was a live band playing which I didn't expect on a Sunday night but it was alright. Their libations menu was nice and nicely priced. Food-wise was kinda your standard pub grub with a few tasty surprises. Here's what we had:
Drinks:
-Backhouse Pinot noir
-Silver Bluff Mexican lager
Dinner:
-Wild GA shrimp basket w/ side salad
-Shrimp and Grits
-Fried Flounder with side of mashed potatoes
-Clam chowder
My shrimp and grits were good but a touch salty. My lady and her mom enjoyed their food for sure. This place was pretty packed almost every night so it's definitely a local favorite. They're certainly doing something right for that. I'd consider going back next visit."
